Special Brood Bitch

No Ent.

Puppy Dog

1st Javarke Carbon Copy. Type coby b/b, short, balanced and well made with lots of bone. Powerful head with good ear and eye but carrying mouth fault. Handler has him showing really well.

2nd. Chardaice Fist of Fury. Brindle with decent make and shape but a touch long. He does have good bone. Fore face could do with a touch more fill but head has good length with very good eye and ear. Mouth fault. Handler did very well with a young excitable dog who moved very well.

Junior Dog

1st Bilboen Yannis. Masculine Powerful tri in good hard condition who is hard to ignore. Head has enough length with lots of power with good ear and eye, also mouth is perfect. Decent make and shape but a touch roached on the move. This dog is a true example of a fit BT and is a credit to his owner.

2nd. Fortifier Filis Fortune. Well marked brindle, we'll made with short back. Head could do with a touch more length but has good eye with perfect mouth. Balanced dog but a touch unsettled on the move.

Novice Dog

1st Sunnys Enter Sandman. Rich brindle who has good make and shape. Powerful head with good ear, eye and mouth. A touch long but carries himself well.

2nd Charming King. Brindle who is a touch long but has good make and shape. Good ear, eye and mouth but head lacks a touch of fill. Well handled and when settled moved well.

Post Graduate Dog

1st. Chardaice Dillinger. Rich red in great coat.  Very well made throughout with good bone and feet. Has enough head which has good ear, eye and mouth. Not the shortest of dogs but topline is sound on the move. For me on the day was a couple of pounds overweight but still a very good dog. RBD.

Limit Dog

1st. Brussels Red Knight Rising. Solid red in excellent condition. Strong head that has good eye and ear with good mouth. Although not short he does have very good make and shape. He stands on tidy feet and moves with drive. Handled to perfection. BoB.

2nd. Ounsdale Return of the Mack. B/B in excellent condition. Body is square and compact with good bone but surprisingly has slight dip behind shoulder. Head could be an inch longer but has lots of power. Good ear and eye and correct mouth. Loads of attitude and a real handful for his owner.

Open Dog .

1st. Bullysoul To Hard To Handle. Brindle, we'll made throughout but weight spoilt balance. Good length of head with very good eye but didn't make the most of well placed ears, mouth fault. Smart dog.

2nd. Ragnarok Radolf. Red in great coat and with real bully temperament. Decent make and shape but a touch long. Head has good length with good ear and eye but mouth fault.

BITCH CLASSES

Puppy Bitch

1st. Romagna Drama Queen. Rich brindle and very well made throughout. Head is feminine with excellent eye and correct mouth, has enough profile already. Must mention her very good reach of neck. Moved well and expertly handled. BB and BP.

2nd. Fortifiers Full Flavour. Square tri with decent make and shape but feet a touch untidy. Long head with gentle profile and correct mouth.

Junior Bitch

1st. Rascal Ruby Look No Further.

Solid with decent make and shape but turns right foot. Long head with gentle profile and good ear and eye but mouth fault. Great showgirl and well handled.

Novice Bitch

1st. Ebullient Lady Ebony. B/B good size girl in good condition, long head with gentle profile and good eye, ears could be a touch closer. Mouth correct . Moved ok and well handled.

2nd. Bulltereific Danna at Megaville. Coby rich brindle with powerful feminine head, good ear eye and correct mouth. Very typy but her obvious fault is her short length of leg.

Post Grad. Bitch

1st. Dikrams Tribal Magic. Substantial tri with lots of type. Head has fill and depth with decent ear and eye and correct mouth. Has good bone and decent make and shape. The slight dip behind the shoulder spoils overall picture. RB.

2nd. Japulca Secret Charm At Taylajay. Smart brindle in great condition. Ultra feminine with good bone. Head has good length and gentle profile, good eye but ears slightly spoil exspression. Could be cleaner through the shoulder.

Limit Bitch

1st. Ounsdale Mighty Madusa. Feminine brindle with decent make and shape. Long neck into strong feminine head with good eye but ears spoil expression, mouth correct. A little loose in her front movement, expertly handled.

2nd. Dikrams Black Magic. Square substantial B/B with good bone. Powerful head with correct mouth

Open Bitch

2 Ent/ 2Ab.

The Coloured Bull Terrier Club Trophies held
on 4th May 2013 at Shirland Village Hall

My thanks to the committee for their hospitality. Exhibits were in good health condition although there were mouth faults and movement was not at its best.

Geham Trophy for Dogs
For best coloured dogs shown at a Championship show or the Coloured Bull Terrier Club Show during the previous year

Judge - Sylvia J Monaghan

Best Dog

Hawksford & Williams - Bussell's Red Night Rising

Solid Red, Good ring presence stood full square, good Arc with fill, ear carriage, piercing dark eye (loved his expression) Strong muzzled. Nice reach of neck set onto well laid shoulders. Clean fore & hind angulations. Turn of stifle let down onto hocks. Maintains a level top line on the move which shows in his sound movement. Yes he has a dentition fault but his virtues out way this & he was worthy of his prize. It was also nice to see the judge of the open show was in agreement and awarded him BOB.

Runner up

Mr & Mrs Taylor's - RAGNAROK RADOLF

Red/white - Nicely constructed with the right ratio of bone to size. He lacks on arc but has fill, ears not upright as I would have liked. He is dark eyed, and is another strong muzzled dog. (Has a slight dentition fault) Well angulated fore & hindquarters, turn of stifle let down onto hocks. Has a good topline but his movement was erratic.

Kearby Trophy for Bitches
For best coloured bitches shown at a Championship show or the Coloured Bull Terrier Club Show during the previous year

Judge - Sylvia J Monaghan

Winner

Ley's - FORTIFIER FLAMETTA

Black/brindle - Lovely & Feminine, one of our smaller bitches but she presents a good overall picture of substance to size. Lacks a little on arc but has correct dentition. Good angulation and sound movement.

Runner up

Galla's - VETSBULLIES HAPPINESS

Lived up to her name today happy & and was quite herself. Unsettled on the move which was her downfall. As she entered the ring I thought 'this is the one’ she had everything going for her from nose to tail. All qualities. Owner must concentrate on her movement as unsettled she has a 'roly poly' front action & dances all over at the back.

Sylvia J Monaghan

Judge

A big thank you to the committee of the coloured Bull Terrier Club for the opportunity to judge. And also the members for their entry. It seemed as usual there was a very good atmosphere and good sportsmanship shown. shown.
